Dallas Trip Has Come To An End via www.kelseysworld.com

I made it back from Dallas and I am laying in bed exhausted but just wanted to write an entry about my experience. Totally fun trip. Got to try crawfish with voice coach Linda and I went to about 5 different malls with stage teacher Tre. Lots of fun.

While on my solitary adventure I grew in ways I never expected. Before I left, I asked the Universe for a positive experience and I received tenfold. The cool thing about getting out in the world is all the people you will meet. Meeting and getting to know like minded people is beyond rewarding. Over the past few days The Universe showed me happiness, love, acceptance and creativity. When you are OPEN to receiving, the amount of growth will be insurmountable. As an artist, I reached new creative heights. I gained tools and insight from incredibly talented people that I will take with me the rest of my life!

For starters, Learning to listen and experience my own music and use that experience to articulate my message with movement was a really bad ass experience worth a MILLION.
I really believe every person you meet and is a part of your life is a SERIOUS gift from the Universe. People are summoned to you in order to help you grow as a spiritual being on this journey of human existence. The great people you interact with can definitely change your life when you least expect it.

I feel so fortunate to have been able to have this experience. It pushed me forth in my growth as an artist and journey to become a better person. Isn’t that the objective? Happiness/ growth/ enlightenment? The journey is never ending, ever giving and overflowing with incredible happenings and moments. Such is life!

quote People will never stop asking you if you’re eventually going to go to college. And unless you’re clairvoyant, you will never be able to answer this question, which doesn’t stop people from asking it all the time. No matter what you’re deciding to do with your life, your answer will never seem good enough for some people. You have to learn to mentally flip the bird to them as you respond with something light and pithy, like, “Oh, who knows! Maybe one day.” These are the same people that will eventually plague your life with questions like, “When are you going to get married?” or “Don’t you want to have a baby?” What they’re really asking is, “So where exactly do you fit into this framework of social acceptance that I have bought into?” They are judging you by their own standards, and you shouldn’t be made to feel inferior as a result of not conforming to them. Even with a college degree, you’ll never know how things are going to turn out for you.
